Intro to Pelvic Floor Yoga Workshop 💜
Friday, April 24 | 6:30–8:00 PM
Your pelvic floor plays a powerful role in how your body moves, feels, and functions every day. In this workshop, we’ll explore simple yoga practices that build awareness, strength, and support for this often overlooked area of the body.
Pelvic Floor Yoga integrates gentle yoga sequencing with pelvic floor cueing, awareness practices, and guided inquiry exercises. While the pelvis is our central focus, the work supports the body as a whole.
This workshop may be especially helpful if you experience:
• pelvic pain
• discomfort using the bathroom
• constipation
• bladder leakage or incontinence
• prolapse
• pain with intercourse
• pregnancy or postpartum changes
Athletes—including equestrians—may also find pelvic floor yoga helpful as part of cross-training, injury prevention, and overall mobility.
This session is taught from a neutral anatomical foundation with a trauma-informed approach. We’ll use a pelvic floor model to explore basic anatomy and terminology so you can better understand what’s happening inside your body. There will be time at the beginning and end for discussion and questions, and curiosity is always welcome.
This workshop is designed for women. Bring your friends, moms, aunts, grandmas—anyone who might benefit from learning more about this important part of their body.
